The Organizing Committee of the WSF is delighted to announce that Kirstjen Nielsen, former Special Assistant to the President of the United States, will join the Cybersecurity Panel of the Warsaw Security Forum 2015 to assess how realistic cybersecurity threats are in today’s world as well as identify the vulnerable spots in security.

Kirstjen Nielsen is an internationally recognized expert in enterprise risk assessment/ management, with a focus in the areas of security policy and strategy, response and incident management, critical infrastructure security and resilience, including cybersecurity, trend and analysis.
Ms. Nielsen is currently the President of Sunesis Consulting, LLC, a security management consulting firm. Ms. Nielsen is also the Chair of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Global Agenda Council on Risk and Resilience, having previously served four years as a member of the WEF’s Global Agenda Council on Catastrophic Risk. She is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Cyber and Homeland Security at the George Washington University, and is an Advisory Board Member for the Center for Naval Analysis Safety and Security. Ms. Nielsen also helps lead a cyber crisis communications practice at Susan Davis International.
