President of the Republic of Estonia, Toomas Hendrik Ilves amongst others will debate at this year’s Forum.

Warsaw Security Forum 2016 (WSF 2016) comes at a crucial moment followed by series of events on Europe’s eastern borders, a successful NATO-Warsaw summit, a world post Brexit, imminent cyber security threats, war in Syria, rise of self-proclaimed islamic state in Arabian Peninsula, refugee crisis emerging from Europe’s southern neighbourhood, South China Sea disputes and rising tensions on Poland’s doorstep in Balkan Region.

Among confirmed speakers there are H.E. Carl Bildt, Prime minster of Kingdom of Sweden (1991-1994); One of main architects of Eastern policy of EU and UN’s Secretary General’s special envoy to Balkans, H.E. Toomas Hendrik Ilves, President of the Republic of Estonia, H.E. Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga, President of the Republic of Latvia (1999-2007), Miss Hanna Hopko, Member of Verhovna Rada of Ukraine along with many other state level officials and experts.

WSF 2016 will host over 70 decision makers and panellists in field of foreign policy and well renown security experts who will gather in Warsaw for cutting edge analysis, briefings, seminars, preliminary sessions and debates. WSF is a platform for strategic dialogue among many European policy makers, strategic analysts and academics to come up with solutions to emerging challenges. Warsaw Security Forum every year helps facilitate experience exchange through discussion on critical security issues in depth.
